Infants
(6 weeks – 18 months)

Special consideration has been taken to create a loving and nurturing home like environment. Professional staff specializing in infant care enables new parents to leave their “little ones” with a sense of security. Each child will follow an individualized feeding and sleep schedule as established by their parent. There are many stimulating and fun toys, plus play areas specifically designed for this early stage of development. Our “open door” policy welcomes parents to visit during the day and breastfeeding mothers will be provided a comfortable setting. Parents may call the classroom directly at any time to inquire about their baby’s activities. Care givers maintain written logs on each child’s daily activities and confer with parents to assure developing babies changing needs are met.

Toddlers
(18 – 24 months)

This program has been designed to provide a balance between a toddler’s need for security and their growing independence. The daily routine is flexible, allotting the most time for “Free Play” and many first hands on experiences with paint, clay, dance, and music. Many duplicates of toys and hands on activities are provided to entice first learning experiences. The toddler teacher’s role is to provide encouragement and reassurance as children explore their environment and develop a sense of self. Special emphasis is place on first time separation from parents and socialization with peers.

Tiny Tots

(2-3 years old)

The primary goal of our Tiny Tots program is to foster a positive self image and promote social awareness. By providing a wide range of developmentally appropriate toys and materials in a comfortable atmosphere, children are encouraged to learn through active play and experimentation. Teachers will expose children to a wide range of “hands on” activities which stimulate and older toddler’s intellectual and physical development. The program focuses on the acquisition of language and building of self identify. Social skills and group activities are elaborated upon as children mature.

Nursery School
(2.6-3.6 years old)

As your three-year-old becomes more independent and secure, our Nursery program will encourage the development of self-help and social skills in a classroom setting. Children will be taught proper use of utensils, pencils, scissors, art materials etc., and are encouraged to complete tasks to the best of their ability. This program is language-based with emphasis on encouraging children to use their words, respond to questions and maintain conversations. As social awareness develops, children are guided positively through interactions with peers. The Nursery class will be introduced to outdoor excursions within our community to enhance “Hands on Learning”.

Pre-School

The main goal of our Pre-School program is to make the first school experience a positive and fun one, while preparing children for Kindergarten.

By stressing individuality, allowing children to make choices and help plan their activities, students are encouraged to become more independent thinkers and problem solvers. Our classroom is designed with varied Learning Centers, each of which stresses a different area of development. Our programs promote Early Literacy and the development of self identity and social skills. Academic activities involving; language arts, computers, mathematics, science and nature are conducted daily.
